We are currently seeking a Teaching Fellow in Criminology to join our dedicated team at Bath Spa University.
About the role
As a Teaching Fellow in Criminology, you will be the key support to undergraduate teaching across our programmes within the Sociology and Criminology Subject. You will design and deliver teaching content across a range of modules at Levels 4 to 6 in Criminology Programmes, as well as contributing to curriculum planning and development, and engaging in research or scholarly activity in Criminology. You will undertake teaching within Criminology in the form of lectures, practical sessions, seminars, discussions groups and tutorials as appropriate, whilst supporting undergraduate students individually and online. In addition, you will help mark assessments associated with the teaching and will attend assessment and examination meetings as required.
About you
You will be a flexible and positive individual who will be able to teach a broad range of Criminology at all undergraduate levels and ideally already hold or be pursuing a higher degree in a relevant area. You will have experience of teaching all aspects of general Criminology, as well as prior experience of different teaching methods and/or experience of university level teaching. As an excellent communicator, you will work successfully as part of a small team, whilst showing the ability to manage your own time with limited supervision.
£37,099 to £41,732 per annum (Ac2)
