Salary up to £80k + benefits package

Remote working with only 1 day in the London office

The UK's leading embedded finance provider, a company with strong customer and employee values that provides their customers with simple and equitable financial products that has resulted in a gross lend of over £200m to 30,000 individual and institutionalinvestors in just 8 years, are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Kotlin Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

They are looking for backend developers with experience in Java, Kotlin, Scala or C# who are keen to work with new technology asyou will be building software in Kotlin.

You will receive comprehensive training in Kotlin.

In this role as a Kotlin Engineer, you will:

Build a pricing and decision engine
Construct new greenfield microservices while extracting functionality from a PHP monolith
Develop and design solutions using cloudnative, microservice architecture based around backend technology
Work in a crossfunctional team environment and implement software engineering practices alongside the Product Managers

Have you got experience in the following?

Software development in backend languages such as Java, Kotlin or C#
Ability to write wellstructed code with functional design principles
Building reliable, scalable and highperformance distribution systems using microservices
