Mixing Operative (Nights)

  • Overview:
In the role of Mixing Operative, your responsibilities encompass efficient logístical work on site assisted by a stand-on forklift. This includes processing orders, ensuring accurate labelling, handling pallet stacks, and conducting corrective activities for goods. Your duties also involve reporting anomalies, preventing accidents, assisting colleagues, identifying improvement opportunities, and maintaining a clean work environment. Safety, efficiency, and attention to detail are crucial aspects of this role.

Hours p/w: 36.25hrs Monday to Friday.


Salary:
£23,485.00 rising upon completion of your probationary period


Responsibilities:


  • Performing the process orders.
  • Checking the correct labelling.
  • Moving and un stacking the stacks of pallets.
  • Carrying out corrective activities with entry and removal of goods.
  • Checking and affixing labels to goods orders.
  • Reporting anomalies, risks and accidents.
  • Undertaking action independently to prevent accidents.
  • Assisting colleagues in carrying out their tasks.
  • Continuing to focus attention on opportunities for improvements and cost savings.
  • Carrying out cleaning.
