JOB TITLE:

RECEPTION SUPERVISOR

Job summary:

Responsible for the day-to-day supervision of all reception staff and associated functions, ensuring all functions are carried out in accordance with agreed procedures, protocols and time-scales, and reporting to the Front office manager as necessary.

Job Duties:

Ensure all guests receive a genuine warm, friendly and courteous welcome on arrival and during their stay.
Assist the Front Office Manager in the training and development of all team members.
Assist the Front Office manager in the day to day running of the Front Office Team including the Night Team
Ensure all members of the Front Office team, including the night team adhere to company standards.
Ensure that all guest information is kept private and not given to anyone who is unauthorised by Hotel Management this includes credit card and payment details.
Deal with guest complaints in a friendly and efficient manner ensuring guest satisfaction at all times, recording all issues.
Assist in efficiently and effectively controlling front office departmental operations.
Work with the management team to ensure strong morale amongst the team at all times.
Previous Hotel Reception experience.
Strong English written and verbal communication skills and be IT literate.
A real passion for providing excellent customer services is a must.
Highly professional
Have first class people skills
Possess excellent leadership skills
Be able to remain calm under pressure
