- Ensuring the timely and cost-effective supply of plant, equipment, and materials to Lowery while maintaining a high level of customer service and safety.
- Efficient and safe management of maintenance for Lowery plant, equipment, and materials.
- Procuring plant and materials for Lowery, ensuring safety, cost-effectiveness, and timeliness.
- Ensuring all Lowery plant and materials meet certification, calibration, legal standards, and are accurately recorded systems.
- Managing supplier relationships to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
- Tracking hired plant and materials, and actioning the off-hire process.
- Minimising losses and communicating any losses or damages to suppliers and relevant people at Lowery.
- Carrying out waste management administration.
- Performing office PA testing, LOLER testing , and lift planning (training provided).
- Knowledge of plant operations/equipment related to ground works/railway.
- Knowledge of site work and relevant legislation.
- Self-motivated with excellent decision-making and adaptability.
- Proactive, use of initiative, and a "can do" approach.
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
- Accurate with attention to detail
- Basic IT skills with the ability to use IT systems.
- Full Driving licence.
- Experience in plant hire.
- Portable Appliance Tester (training provided).
- Personal Track Safety (PTS) holder.
