My client is a very well established, successful, fast growing, multi-award winning, UK Mortgage and Protection Network.

The company's main aim is to provide world class support and guidance to its Appointed Representative (AR) firms and independent MortgageAdvisors alike, utilising their cutting-edge systems and regulatory expertise.

Due to business growth the company are currently keen to recruit an additional Mortgage Business Development Manager to join their established team.

This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week on a Monday to Friday basis. You will manage your own diary suitably.


Key responsibilities within the role will include:

  • You will be accountable for the growth, development, and retention of relationships with new and existing Mortgage Brokers (Appointed Representative's) across the portfolio and region.


  • Business Development

  • Delivering growth in mortgage completion numbers through the management of lead sources including introducers, referrals, existing clients and competitive business development.


  • Account Management

  • Monitoring Appointed Representatives performance against objectives, in relation to KPI's, SLA's. Supporting and agreeing appropriate development actions where necessary.
  • Supporting and delivering ongoing compliance needs
  • Providing Financial Conduct Authority and/or the networks compliance training to your portfolio of clients (Appointed Representative's).
  • Being a company advocate for technology
  • Developing knowledge of the networks bespoke innovate software which is part of their client solution and to ensure clients (Appointed Representative's) are utilising the effectiveness of the software to the bestof their ability with support, guidelines and training.
  • Current/recent Mortgage Business Development Manager and/or Mortgage Advising experience.
  • The CeMAP qualification (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) or equivalent.
  • A strong understanding of the Mortgage/Financial Services Industry.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with experience of successfully influencing others, negotiating effectively.
  • A proven relationship builder. Someone who networks successfully across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging colleagues and clients (Appointed Representative's) to do the same.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the Mortgage Service sector and proven experience of ensuring own/others' compliance with relevant FCA regulatory processes.
  • A great account manager. Experience of building and managing multiple key relationships.
  • Selfmotivated, managing your own workload and setting of priorities.
  • Residing in within either the Oxford, Reading or Maidenhead area's (or live in a location between these area's).
  • A full driving licence.
