SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant

Requirements:
At least a bachelor's degree in psychology, or a related field.
A passion for the education and wellbeing of children with additional learning needs.
Some understanding of SEN and knowledge of how these can be accommodated.
A warm, friendly personality and the natural ability to build strong bonds with SEN students.
Previous experience of working alongside students, or in a school setting, is advantageous, but not mandatory.
The Role

Providing 1:1 and small group support to SEN students in an inclusion unit.
Adapting learning materials to suit the individual needs of each student.
Working in close collaboration with teaching staff, SLT and parents to create a supportive learning environment to each student.
Building strong bonds with students to effectively aid their learning and development.
Participating in staff meetings and parents' evenings.
