To strengthen our team, KARL STORZ Endoscopy (UK) Ltd have a vacancy for a
Senior
Logistics Coordinator role which will be based at our offices in Slough.
We are unable to offer home working or hybrid working, due to the nature of the work to be undertaken.
This is a Senior role and would suit someone looking to progress their career in Logistics by taking on additional responsibilities and accountabilities, such as Company wide projects all aimed at improving the efficiency of our Logistics processes, interactions and suppliers.
About the role:
- Coordinate the logistics team process and functions
- Establish, monitor and report on logistic suppliers' performance and customer service KPIs
- Maintain compliance of logistics activities in accordance with ISO and regulatory standards.
- Create, review and update logistics procedures, work instructions and controlled documents, ensuring compliance with the company's applicable ISO and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate domestic shipment traceability and customer collections within the UK.
- Production of all necessary export paperwork and declarations, including commercial invoices, delivery notes and consignment bookings, necessary to comply with customs regulations.
- Provide first line support on import clearance requests, providing authorisation to couriers in a timely manner.
About You:
- You will be experience in dealing with Domestic Logistics and large courier firms and a minimum of 2 years' experience of dealing with exports, customs and commercial invoicing.
- You will naturally have a customer centric approach with strong administration skills being proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Calm under pressure, you will be able to work under your own initiative and be able efficiently prioritise time critical tasks.
- Proven ability to deliver process improvement focused on the delivery of customer service excellence is essential.
- Experience of SAP would be an advantage.
