Description

Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with a well-established Aluminium window and door business based in Peterborough. This company are looking for a production manager to join their business.

The role:

Controlling the production schedule, coordinating the movement of goods
Determining the materials and workforce needed to meet production deadlines
Liaising with other team members and controlling the quality of the final product
Identifying and improving areas of the production process to maximize efficiency and profits
Ensure all staff are prompt, at their workstations and on task at all times
Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and mínimal downtime
Oversee production process
Set production goals and communicate them to others
Provide motivation, support, and guidance to all employees
Must have experience as a production manager within the window and door industry (essential)
Understand LEAN manufacturing
Excellent understanding of the production of window and door products
Must currently reside in the UK
