Our client are a leading Global payments firm and the Regulatory Compliance Officer will be based in LondonDescription
The Regulatory Compliance Officer will be responsible for:
- Partner to the first line of defence, supporting and advising on matters including, but not limited to Client Asset Sourcebook ("CASS"), Senior Managers Certification Regime (SMCR), Complaints handling, Conduct Risk, Consumer Duty Conflicts of Interestand Payment Service Regulations i.e. Safeguarding)
- Ensure ongoing compliance and identification of any enhancement opportunities.
- Any other associated compliance advisory issues that arise as part of normal BAU process and project/ working group Rule Mapping
- Identification, implementation, rule mapping and maintenance of regulatory controls to support the three lines of defence environment.
- Enabling fluid identification of business processes, regulatory risks and operational controls to assist compliance monitoring oversight in the identification and recommendation of action points to address.
- Regulatory Reporting: Submit Compliance owned regulatory returns for the two UK entities via the FCA's RegData platform.
- Maintain and provide MI on the regulatory reporting calendar for governance meetings ensuring that all reports are produced via RegData (including supervision of reporting by other functions).
Profile
The Regulatory Compliance Officer should have the following skills:
- Background in regulatory compliance -Essential
- Knowledge of banking regulations
- Desirable
- Keeps up to date with the market
- Experience in liaising with regulators
- Desirable
- Experience in managing and/or oversight of SM&CR or PSD Individuals process
- Experience in CASS and/or Safeguarding oversight
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Good organisational skills including prioritisation
- Clear communicator, both verbal and written
Job Offer
Salary of £70,000 -£90,000 plus attractive benefits pacakge
Hybrid working 3 days per week in London office
