Account Manager (exhibitions & sponsorship) - c.£35k + uncapped com - Hybrid (Home/South London office)
We are a B2B advertising and exhibition platform for the hair and beauty sector. Our portfolio of world recognised events, magazines and online platforms continuously support the industries they serve.


Overview
The role will demand both telephone contact and face-to-face meetings.


Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

  • Build number of customers across the portfolio
  • Maintain and develop existing active accounts and build strong relationships with key decision makers
  • Maximise opportunities from all incoming business
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Responsible for hitting all personal targets and forecasting
  • Canvas customers from other publications, exhibitions, social media, online etc.
  • Build market/client knowledge quickly

Skills required

  • Strong negotiator
  • Able to crosssell effectively a variety of products/solutions over the phone
  • Excellent written skills
  • People oriented, excellent listening skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to build relationships both internally and externally
  • Good time management
  • Strong organisational ability
  • PC literate
  • Commercial acumen
  • Highly motivated

Experience required

  • Ideally three year's sales experience
  • An understanding of B2B media would be useful but not essential
  • A track record of success
  • A blend of exhibition, print and online experience would be beneficial but not critical
