Oakdale was established more than twenty years ago and is highly regarded as a professional therapy provider.

We are a not-for-profit community-based organisation and our team is united by a commitment to provide a flexible, bespoke, evidence-based and high quality clinical service to meet the particular needs of each of our clients.

As a result, Oakdale is appointing a new team member to join us and coordinate operations in these services. The role will be based in Harrogate, with some flexibility required at times to travel to Halifax and Leeds.

The job would suit an organised and capable administrator who shares Oakdale's values, and is keen to work with commitment and flexibility within a mutually supportive team.


The post will need to work flexibly to help Oakdale meet and overcome the challenges of a therapy centre, being able to embrace change with enthusiasm.

The post holder will contribute towards the growth and positive reputation of the Oakdale Centre, its success and development, and most importantly the health and wellbeing of our clients.


The post holder's duties will include:

  • Coordinating Oakdale's activities undertaken within clinical services
  • Being a first point of telephone contact for clients
  • Taking client information and enquiries
  • Arranging appointments
  • Managing therapist's' diaries
  • Inputting information into our client databases
  • Processing case administration within this system according to Oakdale's processes
  • Ensuring that sessional and client data is inputted accurately into Oakdale's systems
  • Establishing and maintaining a room booking and coordination system to support employed and selfemployed therapists, and private client work taking place at the new centre
  • Compiling draft activity reports for Oakdale's clients

Additional Duties

  • To be an integral member of the Oakdale team and contribute to its positive reputation and development
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties as may from time to time be required Supporting Oakdale's clinical and management teams
  • To comply with the requirements of the Centre's policies and procedures.

Person Specification

  • At least two years' of administration experience
  • Experience of working in health care and / or with NHS children's or adult therapy services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentational skills, with the ability to facilitate the resolution of issues
  • Able to work on own initiative and to tight timescales
  • Proactive, organised and methodical, with a temperament suited to working with details, taking pride in the accuracy of their work.
  • High level of personal and professional commitment
  • The ability to build effective relationships internally and externally to inspire trust and confidence

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 37.5 per week


Salary:
£25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
