Hickory delivers showstopping food and drink experiences in incredible venues and locations. We are growing fast and need a super organised and proactive new team member to work directly with our Director of Client Services.

We are looking for someone with a desire and passion to be hands-on in the events industry. In this key role you will be responsible for supporting our Client Services. More specifically, you will be involved in planning, communications, reporting and project management.

The Role


Hickory is seeking a Sales Administrator to join our diverse business with a desire and passion to be involved in the events industry.


We're a well-established yet growing marketing leader, and in line with our growth plans we are looking for an uber organised and proactive individual to work directly with the Director of Client Services - so discretion, diplomacy are key attributes required.


You will be the right hand for our Director of Client Services to drive the company policies though the business in line with our quality management system and supported technology.

You will also be responsible for collecting and collating management reporting for the sales and planning teams.


Key Deliverables
Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

  • To provide day to day support to the Director of Client Services
  • Coordinating sales and planning team and client communications including responding, screening and delegating correspondence in professional, accurate, prompt and confidential manner
  • Compose, proofread and format internal and external communications and announcements
  • Work directly with others to maintain Hickory's Quality Management System
  • Collating weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Project management, actioning tasks and decision making
  • Monitor and report on team progress of project plan and task lists
  • Perform diary and travel management duties, ensuring smooth coordination of the diary with a balance of client meetings, interoffice and site visits
  • Plan and setup meetings for the Director of client Services and team to run seamlessly, develop meeting agendas and take meeting notes and support development of project plans and actions plans
  • Support the teams and business with our sustainability strategy
  • Support the teams and business with our technology strategy
  • Supporting financial/budgetary activity such as invoicing queries/raising PO's/expenses support
  • Annually set up, organise and manage any reviews for the Sales team
  • Embody the culture and values of Hickory and be a front facing ambassador at all times

  • Previous experience as a highly efficient administrator in a sales environment preferable
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask and complete tasks within given timeframes and deadlines
  • Excellent IT and administration skills with proven highlevel attention to detail
  • Solid communication, planning and organisational skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong presentation and reporting skills to support effective communication
  • Proven ability to plan and manage work programmes, deal with conflicting demands and meet tight deadlines
  • Integrity, honesty, discretion and confidentiality

Salary:
£DOE

Due to the nature of our business and according to the workload additional working hours may be necessary. During busy periods working hours may be varied and can occasionally include unsocial hours and weekends.


Holiday: 28 days holiday + 1 day off for your birthday.
