Neils Steels Ltd is a leading steel fabricator in the South East.We have a fantastic opportunity to operate our CNC Plasma Machine at our Fabrication Site in Partridge Green.
The primary function of this role is to carry out the cutting and forming of steel components with a primary emphasis on quality workmanship and to follow established procedures to ensure company deadlines are met.
Please note we are a small team working in a busy environment, which means we are looking for someone that is willing to help out in all areas of the business as and when required.
Key Tasks and Abilities:
Knowledge Requirements:
Essential:
- Ability to work from 3D & 2D CAD and other technical drawings.
- Broad knowledge of health & safety
- Previous experience using handtools (angle grinders/drills etc)
Desirable:
- Experience working with CAD designers & fabricators would be a benefit.
- Forklift license.
- Overhead crane ticket.
- Operating CNC Plasma machines.
