Description
The primary responsibilities of the role are as follows:- Represent Custody Product Management for new opportunities and client retention through proactive engagement with sales and relationship to optimise the custody offering, supporting related legal and pricing negotiation.
- Lead Strategic Workshops, sharing our future vision and plans, ensuring alignment to the Clients' goals.
- Act as the Voice of the Client to drive custody product change that enhances the Client experience and generates commercial value.
- Develop innovative ideas that support our core Custody services with a strong business case focussed on future growth, Client satisfaction and risk management.
- Build a network internally to partner with other business lines to develop cross enterprise solutions for emerging trends for clients and the market.
- Support the development of client facing and market collateral incl. Thought Leadership to facilitate an expanded market presence.
- Understand and address the regulatory, compliance and risk implications of proposed changes on BNY Mellon or its clients.
Excellent Knowledge of Custody and Financial Services Products
Prior experience in product development preferred.
Client Facing experience with exceptional written and oral communication skills, comfortable delivering client presentations.
Strong commercial negotiation skills
Demonstrable ability in anticipating client needs through enterprise collaboration and "self" research
Thorough understanding of the market environment in which BNY Mellon and its Clients' operate.
In depth understanding of the Risk Environment for Custody & Financial Services Products.
