Kitchen Assistant Required - Care Home Based

08:00 - 14:30

12 hours per week - Saturday & Sunday

The post holder is an essential part of the Care Home team employed to manage the smooth running of the kitchen.

This role is to provide nutritious and enticing meals to our residents


Responsibilities:


  • Preparation of vegetables.
  • Ensuring that all dishes and utensils are washed properly, dried and returned to their proper place.
  • Cleaning inside and outside the dishwasher each day
:


  • Cleaning of stainless steel units.
  • Cleaning of all work tops and sinks.
  • Emptying and cleaning of the kitchen bin daily.
  • Regularly cleaning wheels on trolley.
  • Regularly clean Fridge/Freezer.
  • Clean upstairs kitchen cupboard monthly.
  • Any other task required to perform the role.
