    Registered Nurse - Morningside Manor Care Home

    Lindemann Healthcare is a family run business which was established in 1995 and has over 25 years experience caring for older people in Edinburgh.

    Our dedicated team aims to provide specialised care in a safe homely atmosphere where the residents are cared for with dignity and respect.

    This allows each resident to function at their optimum level where they can feel content and "at home".

    We believe that our Care Homes should be therapeutic yet home like environments where the resident can feel their individual needs are met with priority.

    Our vision is to have a structure of flexibility in our approach.

    We will create opportunities through active observation and our training frameworks to establish a culture and coach our Team ​in our Company Care V.A.L.U.E.S and our Residents Charter.

    Highly competitive rates from £ £21.50 per hour depending on experience and qualifications

    22 to 33 hours per week. Shift pattern is 8am to 8pm including alternative weekends

    Job Summary:


    To professionally lead the care team during any span of duty, ensuring that a safe, effective and efficient care service is maintained which meets the needs of residents and purchasers.

    To provide nursing care to residents in accordance with their assessed needs to an industry leading standard.
    Roles & Responsibilities

    Ensure and maintain a high standard of care, in line with our resident's charter and philosophy of care.

    Conduct, assess and document care plans and risk assessments related to the assessed needs and choices of individual residents.

    Supervise care and domestic staff, giving advice and guidance, as required .

    Report to their line manager on matters relating to resident's care.


    Communicate with staff, residents, relatives, visitors, and other professionals in order to ensure a co-ordinated approach to resident's care .

    Observe Home procedures for the safe handling, administration and storage of medical products. The post holder is also required to take responsibility as the prime care provider

    Be aware of the need for personal development and continuing education.

    Participate in and contribute to In-Service training and orientation programmes.


    Assist Care Home Manager/Deputy Care Home Manager in the continual appraisal of staff, giving advice and guidance as required, maintaining a regular appraisal system and encourage career development.

    Advise Care Home Manager/Deputy Care Home Manager of any significant changes or incidents within the Home.

    Stand in for Care Home Manager/Deputy Care Home Manager as required following appropriate orientation
