    PMO Analyst

    Job title: PMO Analyst

    Location: Preston: We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

    What you'll be doing:

    • Provide central / month end reporting of project delivery performance across the P&P area using data from multiple sources
    • Review reporting and project KPI's, providing analysis and insight to inform improvement and / or corrective activities
    • Provide guidance on the P&P report cycle expectation and provide support to the wider PMO and P&P team
    • Production and review of P&P / PM&C reporting and dashboards at portfolio level
    • Provide insight and analysis of data and reporting to support Portfolio Delivery Leads, Programme and Project Managers in delivery
    • Manage / facilitate the key P&P Reviews.Activities will include: review/stakeholder scheduling, agenda agreement, pre pack assurance review, review facilitator and action tracking/distribution
    • Support the Head of P&P PMO with ad hoc reporting / data requests
    • Support On-Boarding and training of new starters on P&P Reporting expectations
    • Provide guidance and support to other members of the team

    Your skills and experiences:

    • Proficiency in making informed judgments based on analysis of factual data
    • Familiarity with the landscape of Project Management and Control (PM&C) capabilities
    • Demonstrated knowledge and practical experience in PM&C governance and assurance processes
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau

    The Enterprise IT PMO Team:

    This role has responsibility for supporting the successful operation of the Programme & Project (P&P) Project Management Office (PMO). Providing central support within the PMO team, carrying out administration duties critical to the day to day operations. This role provides a great opportunity within BAE Systems to develop your career into Project Management and EIT.
