Alloa based business looking to recruit a purchase ledger clerk to for the Group Finance Function.


This role will provide support to the Financial Accountant responsible for the financial management of a number of business units and sit within a small team as such a positive, team player attitude is required.

Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.


Accountabilities
Processing and electronic filing of invoices

Seeking payment authorisation

Payment processing

Investigating purchase ledger queries

Liasing with suppliers

Setting up new suppliers accounts and maintaining existing account details

Reconciliation of supplier statements

Additional duties may be required to support the finance team from time to time for holiday and sickness cover.

Hours of Work Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs per week-Part time hours would also be considered. Flexibility with hours is available.

Salary up to £24000 per annum depending on experience.
