The Role
Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced utility surveyor in the Glasgow area. The role would involve carrying out surveys at sites throughout the U.K and beyond.

  • Conducting utility surveys using modern survey methods and devices.
  • Resolving any unexpected site issues and seeking help from the team and management when required.
  • Accurately recording surveying information on site to the agreed specification and scope.
  • Building and maintaining client relationships and ensuring that we deliver to our client's expectations.
  • Assisting with detailed field and office surveying assignments.
  • Checking the quality of information collected on site and ensuring a successful transition to deliverables.
  • Mentoring and training junior surveying staff as required.
  • Delivering to company policies, procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Carrying out any other duties as required by the business.

Requirements:


  • 2 years+ of experience in the utility surveying industry with a strong understanding of PAS 126 standards.
  • Strong understanding of using total stations, GNSS receivers and utility markers.
  • Proficient in the creation of written survey reports, permits to dig, manhole and inspection chamber record cards in accordance with PAS12
  • Excellent communication skills and experience dealing with clients.
  • Flexibility to work away from home for periods and accommodate various shift patterns when required (such as night shift etc).
  • A full UK driver's license.
  • The right to work in the UK.
