An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Governance Facilitator to join our team at Broomfield Hospital.


The role involves providing Governance support to the Division of Theatres & Anaesthetics across Mid & South Essex NHS Trust as part of the Care Group 2 Governance Team.

  • This is a job share role working 12.5 hours per week on a Thursday & Friday*The role is working with the Division of Theatres & Anaesthetics to support the Care Group Governance lead in achieving the operational delivery of patient safety and risk management across the Care Group.


The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day management of incidents and their review, identification and management of risk and compliance within the Care Group under the direction of the Care Group Governance Lead, working with the other internal departments including the Patient Safety and Risk & Compliance teams to deliver an effective Clinical Governance Assurance Framework.

  • Supporting with review and management of incidents using DCIQ including serious incident investigations.
  • Promote an open and transparent culture that actively improves clinical safety and quality
  • Support the management and development of complaints within the Division
  • Ensure Duty of Candour requirements are met
