Reed have been engaged to support a firm of financial advisors who offer a wealth of experience covering a wide range of financial services.

They are looking for a Paraplanner to join their team based in Poole. You will be working directly with all members of the team undertaking a variety of tasks.


About the role:


  • Preparing and maintaining client files. You will carry out research for the Practice Principle client meetings
  • Undertake research to identify suitable solutions to meet the client's needs
  • Prepare information/comparisons for analysis
  • Consider current and future allocation of assets for investment strategy with regard to client risk profile
  • Prepare suitability letters in accordance with the agreed recommendations
  • Act as main technical point of contact and deal effectively with queries from clients and other parties through effective communication
  • Establish and build strong relationships with clients Organise future planning meetings with client

Key Skills:


  • Hold certificate in or working towards relevant financial planning qualification
  • A good understanding of the financial planning processes
  • Strong report writing ability and experience
  • Ability to achieve agreed outcomes without supervision
  • Confident customer facing manner
  • Ability to carry out needs analysis and make recommendations to Adviser
