Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you want to make a difference in the lives of children who require additional support to thrive academically and socially? If yes, then Tradewind Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for you to join a primary school in Barnsley as a Teaching Assistant for SEN.

Our school is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Teaching Assistant who is committed to providing high-quality support to students with SEN.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the school SENCO and other teaching staff to help students access the curriculum, develop their skills and reach their full potential.

You will be responsible for providing one-to-one and small group support to students with a range of needs, including autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.

A passion for working with children and young people with SEN
A positive, patient and nurturing approach to teaching and supporting students
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
The ability to work as part of a team and use their own initiative
Experience working with students with SEN (preferred but not essential)
Relevant qualifications or training in SEN (preferred but not essential)
