The spirit supply operations at the Bacardi UK Supply Chain is a key part of whisky/gin supply, comprising of complex and dynamic processes such as cask maturation warehousing, new distillate filling operations, disgorging, bulk liquid exports and liquid handling and bottling.
These operations continue to expand in complexity and require planning expertise to help shape the workloads and propel us to attaining our goals and visions in line with the organisation's long term Best 10 strategies.
About YouAs one of the spirit supply planners you will be responsible for planning and organising the demands across multiple products, incorporating all needed activities for the fulfilment of both our own local needs and those of customers / 3rd parties.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of operations relating to liquid production and bottling. Understand the various needs and constraints in delivering against production plans and customer requests.He / she will be familiar with the administrative side of such operations and be proficient in systems such as DRAMS and SAP, as well as being proficient in standard IT applications such as Microsoft Office.
This person will be expected to be a knowledgeable technical partner and work closely onsite with the other JDSL planners, supply chain and distilleries.
They will be involved in working with various other stakeholders and 3rd parties, both at JDSL and beyond.This person will be enthusiastic and proactive, actively contributing to the success of the team by carefully planning to the needs of the business, while remaining flexible and adaptive
RESPONSIBILITIES
With our consumer at the heart your key focus will be
Co packer planning for Tails and Broxburn, responsible for all transport plans and movements to support third party demands
Review and action the spirit requirement request from Broxburn ensuring that spirit arrives OTIF
Order and maintain the material stocks required to meet the Broxburn demands (flavour keys and sugar actioning any write offs and wastage removal as required)
Minimise stock levels of maturing casks at Broxburn, facilitate the return of any empty casks and IBCs back to JDSL inventory
Validate and action the TAILS (ICB) production plan, action any spirit requirements to ensure production plans can be locked for 4 weeks but with a 12 week overview
Develop and share the IBC filling plan, process all despatch paperwork and ensure stock movements are transacted completely and compliantly in SAP
Attend all relevant third party planning meetings with active participation and ownership for spirit and material ingredients
Ownership of all elements of the purchasing and logistics requirement for ingredients
Creation of POs and required GRs, ensuring that PODs are actioned stock available in SAP and the co packers reconciliation file is updated
Review the stock reports on a weekly bases and investigate any differences between SAP and third party stock reports
Leading and chairing all meetings for spirit supply demands across third party stakeholders
Create the despatch paperwork, EMCS entry and issue to drivers for all Westthorn movements
Attendance at third party QBR with active participation on all points linking to production planning and spirit supply service levels
Manages the outline Agreements for all purchases to ensure that these are effectively maintained and validated with local procurement lead
Weekly validation of outturns and processing to ensure that this is accurate and reflective of the stocks at third party locations
Responsible to ensure all import liquids are ordered, processed and receipted in line with expected timescales (42 below, Grey Goose)
Participation in all innovation projects and ensure that all BOM are accurate to reflect liquid product components
Processing of all outturns, ensuring that these are completed for month end, liquid issued to production orders in SAP and wastage processed
Weekly validation of outturns and processing to ensure that this is accurate and reflective of the stocks at third party locations.
