    Job Description

    We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in Bridgend and surrounding areas as a Care Professional. We are looking to transport and support our clients out into the community, therefore a vehicle is required or reliable transport.

    As a Care Professional, you will provide a variety of non-medical services to help people remain independent in their own home:

  • Companionship
  • Home help services
  • Personal care services
  • Transport to different activities
  • Many more
  • Number of secondary responsibilities which you can find in the job description document upon request

    • As a Care professional, you will be expected to work every other weekend (full weekend or part of the weekend) , in turns with everyone. Flexibility will be discussed on individual basis.

    Home Instead Bridgend, Porthcawl, Pencoed , Maesteg

    Work every other weekend - with flexible shift patterns throughout the week

    Qualifications

    No experience necessary - full mandatory and specialist training will be provided

    Friendly, approachable and honest. Good communication skills, good listening skills.
    Full UK driving license with reliable vehicle due to transport requirement to access community.
    This role is subject to successful interview, DBS enhanced disclosure and satisfactory references.

    Mandatory Registration with Social Care Wales , if not registered, full support will be provided

    Full support will be provided to gain QCF/NVQ in Health and Social Care.
