Position:

We are looking for a
Service Administrator to join our team at Mercedes-Benz
Brooklands. This is a fantastic business, one of the premier Dealerships in the UK, situated within

The role of the service administrator is crucial to providing administrative support to all areas of the aftersales department, as directed by Aftersales Manager.


In this role you will respond to customers' requirements, ensuring that no unauthorised work is undertaken and that customer queries are handled quickly and efficiently.

You will also provide administrative support to the service department ensuring that all invoicing takes place in an accurate and timely manner and that documentation is processed in line with company procedures.


About you:

Alongside previous experience within a similar administration role, other skills and experience typically required include:

  • Ideally automotive industry
  • Excellent customer service and administrative skills
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Competent I.T (Information Technology) and system skills
  • Comfortable working under pressure, at peak trading times

About the role (Overview):


Key responsibilities in this role include but are not limited to:

  • To provide administrative support to all areas of the Aftersales department
  • Job pack preparation
  • Prioritising all invoicing and release notes
  • To support the Used Car warranty claim process
  • To invoice and claim manufacturer warranty repairs, retail repairs and Internal repairs to a suitably high standard that minimises queries and debt
  • Follow company banking process
  • WIP management including Rebooking for Parts received
  • Updating customers with parts on order
  • Administration support with work in process records
  • Filing and archive management
