JOB TITLE:
System Integrator


DEPARTMENT:
Building Unit 9


REPORTING TO:
Assembly/Quality management Supervisor


WORKING HOURS: 6am - 7pm - Thursday - Saturday

**To manufacture desktop PCs to the highest quality and fulfil the individual customers' build specification requirements within a production-based environment.


MAIN DUTIES:


  • Liaise with Supervisor to ascertain order manufacturing priorities.
  • Ensure orders are current and update with any recent adjustments made by the customer.
  • Check all components are correct to the order and in top working condition.
  • Log builds into the computerised administration system to update the customer on their order progress.
  • Collect the customers chosen case from the designated area provided by Preproduction. (Some heavy lifting may be required).
  • Ensure all components are fitted correctly and cable management is to the required high standard.
  • Use the correct ESD procedure to manufacture the unit in accordance with the build specification.
  • Label unit with the appropriate order number, operating system, and CPU where applicable.
  • Prepare a welcome pack for each build for the customer ensuring it including all accessories.
  • Place any completed builds in the designated area for the testing department.
  • Complete quality control checking to ensure highest quality of product.
  • Help create a positive working environment within the team and production area.
  • Work on a rota to process orders through our 360photo machine to provide customers with an uptodate Image of their product.

GENERAL DUTIES:


  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Ensure the compliance of company procedures under your direct control.
  • Willingly carry out other duties deemed appropriate by the company.
  • Ensure any equipment that you use is in good working order and conduct a weekly physical check.

Requirements:


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Manual Handling training (can be completed inhouse)
  • ESD training (can be completed in house)

Language Skills

  • English

Desirable Skills

  • Good knowledge of PC hardware.
