The Glebe Practice is looking for 2 experienced receptionist to join our team for 18 hours per week each Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.30am 6.30pm.

Shift patterns as follows:

Applicant one
Monday am pm

Wednesday am-13.45pm

Thursday pm -18.30pm

Applicant two
Tuesday pm-18.30pm

Wednesday am

13.45pm

Friday pm pm

Applicants should be flexible and able to work in a busy environment both face to face and over the telephone.

Essential skills include good communication, a willingness to learn with the ability to use own initiative and be part of the team.

Main duties of the job

Main aspects of the role are to receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.

Project a positive, friendly image to patients and visitors.

Dealing with a wide range of people in different situations.

Working as part of a team.

Sensitivity and empathy with people from different backgrounds.

Good standard of literacy and numeracy.

Ability to work without close supervision.

Able to work as part of team.

Able to prioritise workload.

The ability to exercise judgement when dealing with patient enquiries /problems.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent Computer skills.

Overview of your organisation
The Glebe Practice is a friendly practice based in Saxilby, Lincolnshire.

The team consists of 2 GP Partners, 5 Salaried GPs, 4 Practice Nurses, 2 Pharmacists and 3 HCAs backed by an experienced administration team.

We have a list size of appx 8300 We are also a training practice.
