Job Title:
Dispensary Administrator


Duties:


  • Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the Dispensary
  • Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and professional manner
  • Maintain an organized filing system for important documents and records
  • Perform data entry tasks to update and maintain databases
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Order Dispensary supplies
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Issuing repeat medication, in line with practice protocols
  • Manning the handing out of medication to patients and taking note of any queries to forward to the relevant team

Skills:


  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Attention to detail is essential
  • Excellent typing and data entry skills with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of office procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ideally experience of working within a Pharmacy environment
  • This is a fulltime position with regular office hours.
