Responsibilities:
Event Planning and Coordination:
Assist in the planning and coordination of marketing events such as trade shows, conferences, seminars, and product launches.
Coordinate logistics including venue selection, booth setup, catering, transportation, and accommodations.
Work closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Manage event budgets and track expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Provide on-site support during events, including setup, breakdown, and attendee assistance.
Marketing Material Development:
Create promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, banners, and presentations.
Assist in the development and distribution of marketing collateral both online and offline.
Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials.
Digital Marketing Support:
Assist in maintaining the company website and social media channels with up-to-date content.
Monitor and report on website traffic and social media engagement metrics.
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities.
Analyse marketing data (e.g., customer surveys, campaign results) to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
Administrative Support:
Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
Assist in maintaining marketing databases and files.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing software and tools.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Knowledge of the chemical industry or related fields is a plus.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to gain valuable experience in marketing within the chemical manufacturing industry.
The role is a fixed term of 9 months with the possibility of extension.
