    Job summary

    An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, well-motivated and efficient individual who enjoys working in a challenging and busy environment. You will provide a high quality general administration service for the Orthopaedic clinical administration unit.

    We have one full time hour position available at Tunbridge Wells Hospital.

    Youwill be adaptable, hardworking and have excellent communication and computer successful applicant will need to demonstrate strong team working skills and the ability to work on their own initiative.

    Duties will include dealing with patient telephone queries, ordering and tracking patient notes, filing and scanning, booking of appointments and other admin tasks as necessary.

    Main duties of the job

    You will have strong prioritising and excellent organisational skills together with the ability to remain calm and collected in a busy and dynamic environment. With strong communication and interpersonal skills you will have the ability to formulate and implement solutions working with the clinical and management teams.

    You will be self-motivated, adaptable, have excellent time management and a willingness to learn new skills and take on challenges whether working on your own or part of a team.

    The position is for hours per week, Monday - Friday. Hours will be agreed with your line manager to meet the needs of the service.

    Qualifications

    Essential

  • A good general education.
  • Willingness to undertake and complete a Level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship as part of the role.
  • Desirable

  • GCSE English/equivalent Grade C or above
  • Experience/Knowledge

  • Previous telephone experience
  • Previous Admin experience
  • Understanding of IT systems.
