We are looking for a full time person to cover maternity leave and help run a high quality clerical function for our oncology outpatient clinics.

This role will be primarily based on the Hammersmith Hospital site. The postholder will liaise and interact with patients, medical and clerical staff.

The post holder will be expected to work 3.75 hours a day, Monday to Friday.

The job involves a variety of tasks including reception, data input as well as dealing with patients face to face, handling telephone and generic mail box enquiries

Good communication, keyboard and telephone skills are essential alongside clear fluent spoken and written English. It is imperative that you are a team player, flexible and well organised. You need to be particularly accurate and pay attention to detail - even under pressure


If you have excellent organisation and communication skills, relevant qualifications and some experience working in a customer services or hospital setting then this could be the role for you.


Provide a comprehensive and quality administration service to the designated department and manage and prioritise their workload liaising closely with the other administration staff and management in the Department.

Provide administrative support to the wider multidisciplinary team, including Consultants.
