We are working with a world-leading Trading and Financial Services Group, who are looking to welcome a Product Controller into their team.
In the role, you'll be responsible for controlling and reporting high quality and timely financial information referring to commercial activity to multiple stakeholders.
Your Role
- Ensuring accurate financial information is produced for each trading book, all trades are valued in line with the Group Accounting Policy and those valuations are in line with market information.
- Producing daily validation and explanation of trading gross margins.
- Reviewing and explaining any changes in the value of future portfolios.
- Actively taking part in projects bringing Improvement to the reporting process. This includes the automating the P&L attribution process, analysing the balance sheet and identifying and reporting on business drivers.
- Supporting the commercial activity through taking on a business partnering role.
- Supervising the junior staff members to achieve team objectives.
Your Skills and Qualifications
- ACA, CIMA, or ACCA Qualified.
- Experience within bank, financial services or accounting firm is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and stakeholders.
- Be proactive and possess strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
