We are working with a world-leading Trading and Financial Services Group, who are looking to welcome a Product Controller into their team.

In the role, you'll be responsible for controlling and reporting high quality and timely financial information referring to commercial activity to multiple stakeholders.

This is a key role within an exciting and entrepreneurial part of the business.

Your Role

Ensuring accurate financial information is produced for each trading book, all trades are valued in line with the Group Accounting Policy and those valuations are in line with market information.
Producing daily validation and explanation of trading gross margins.
Reviewing and explaining any changes in the value of future portfolios.
Actively taking part in projects bringing Improvement to the reporting process. This includes the automating the P&L attribution process, analysing the balance sheet and identifying and reporting on business drivers.
Supporting the commercial activity through taking on a business partnering role.
Supervising the junior staff members to achieve team objectives.

Your Skills and Qualifications

ACA, CIMA, or ACCA Qualified.
Experience within bank, financial services or accounting firm is desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with team members and stakeholders.
Be proactive and possess strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
