    Description

    Responsibilities

  • To develop the Drinks Inc business through effective sales growth, relationship management in both the on and off trades
  • Responsibility for achieving quarterly sales and margin line with the objectives of the Drinks Inc business overall.
  • To grow the Key account business in the area by developing existing relationships
  • To win and develop profitable new business and work with the broader Drinks Inc team on opportunities.
  • To develop on and off trade Wine sales in Drinks Inc by growing our market share
  • Specifically, to secure new on trade wine lists
  • Implement the company marketing plans driving promotions and NPD
  • Full compliance with the company credit control policy
  • To work with all support functions including logistics, trading, marketing and Telesales to drive customer service.
  • Build Bordeaux, enhance the cross functional relationships across the wider Musgrave group
  • The ideal candidate will have/be:

    Essential:

  • Strong sales experience within a proactive field-based sales role
  • A min. of 3 + years' experience within the licenced trade in particular
  • Proven experience of growing sales and achieving targets within the Drinks industry
  • Strong commercial acumen and customer focus
  • Ability to make decisions, meet targets and work under pressure.
  • Excellent planning, and organisational skills
  • People person with the ability to network and build strong working relationships.
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Competent in MS Office to include excel and word.
  • Desirable

  • Good understanding of the Drinks industry model
  • A strong interest / knowledge of the wine industry
