Description
We are currently recruiting a friendly, motivated and positive HR Advisor to join the HR Team within our client based in Bridgwater, Somerset.
As an experienced HR professional, you will be joining the team during a period of growth and welcomed into a HR team focussed on delivering a valued support function across the company.
You will additionally be involved in coaching and mentoring management colleagues in the implementation of HR Policy, Processes and Procedures.
In your advisory capacity you will act as the first point of contact for all HR queries, ensuring that there is a timely response, appropriate follow-up and escalation of more complex issues as required.
Within your role you will ensure the administration of internal and external recruitment campaigns is efficient and effective, including identifying and preparing adverts, developing appropriate selection methods and participating in interviews.
Additionally analysing HR related data and formulating reports on a periodic basis, highlighting trends and appropriate courses of action to ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
From time to time, you will attend relevant meetings and/or training events when required, to ensure professional standards are met.
Naturally within the role of HR Advisor key competencies will include communication, facilitating change, creating positive relationships within the HR team and the wider business, extensive knowledge of employment legislation, confidence operating in an advisory capacity and comfortable having difficult conversations when necessary.
CIPD qualification to level 5 would be ideal in this role ,there may also be a requirement to travel to external UK based sites.
