Location:
Central London/Edinburgh - 2 days a week


Salary: 55K + up to 16% bonus

The client

A leading provider of insurance services, such as savings, pensions and retirement.

You


You will be working closely with the wider Asset Management team to support delivering the Strategic Asset Allocation and portfolios for Bulk Purchase annuity deals.


Responsibilities:


  • Supporting the construction and optimisation of investment portfolios for pricing and deployment of bulk annuity transactions
  • Working with the quant development team to develop the tools and systems for optimisation of Strategic Asset Allocation and BPA asset allocations
  • Supporting the provision of advice, challenge and guidance to senior stakeholders customers in relation to the optimisation and deployment of investment strategy
  • Supporting the implementation and reporting of execution paths for SAA and BPA transactions to successfully implement the Investment Strategy into the book of business
  • Supporting the identification and construction of relevant positioning strategies, maximising partnerships with external asset managers
  • Articulating portfolio construction and positioning for senior stakeholders
Your experience

  • Ideally, you will have Bloomberg experience
  • Knowledge of Asset Allocation, Financial Markets and Investment Strategies for Insurance companies
  • Previous experience in an investment or ALM role
  • Awareness of asset management markets and trends
  • Ability and enthusiasm for working and communicating effectively with various internal and external stakeholders
