Kingswood group are working with a large organisation close to Brighton to recruit a payroll supervisor to join their in-house payroll team.

This role reports into the payroll manager and you will be responsible for a team of nine direct reports.

The role will be undertaken on a hybrid basis with at least 2/3 days in the office.

You must understand the finance function side of payroll as you will be responsible for the financial reconciliations and journals.

A good knowledge of pension schemes is a must as you will take the lead regarding this.

Main responsibilities include:

Along with your team be responsible for a payroll of around 3,000 staff
Maintaining the contributions, schedules, and reconciliations for the pension scheme
Financial reconciliations for payroll including balancing all payroll related control accounts and preparing the monthly tax and NI payments to HMRC

They are looking for someone who is hardworking and works well under pressure.

They must have excellent communication and be able to work well in a team as well as manage direct reports.
