Key duties of Plant Fitter:


  • Perform repairs, maintenance, and servicing of a wide range of plant machinery
  • Conduct regular inspections and faultfinding to diagnose issues and troubleshoot problems
  • Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Order and replace necessary parts, components, and materials as required
  • Complete accurate service and maintenance records to ensure compliance with all legal requirements
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Keep up to date with the latest machinery technologies and techniques to ensure the best possible service is provided to customers

To be considered for this position, you'll need:

  • 3+ years experience working with plant machinery
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering, plant maintenance, or a related field
  • Proven ability and or specialising in hydraulics and electrical will be advantageous
  • Strong technical knowledge and diagnostic skills machine diagnostics via laptop
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to health and safety practices
  • HGV licence advantageous
