Customer Service Assistant (Betting) - PAID TRAINING


This role with Britbet is a customer service based role, which involves placing bets on behalf of customers and in turn paying out winning ticket/s at the Nottingham Greyhound Stadium.

You'll be expected to serve guests at their tables in the lounge area of the Stadium, pro-actively speaking to them to ensure their bets are placed with you in good time.

This requires the use of a touchscreen terminal (tablet) to navigate around the different races and bet types.

We will require team members to work only on Friday evenings 17:45-21:45.


Role duties;

  • To use the betting terminals to take bets from customers
  • Pay out guests who supply winning ticket/s
  • Provide excellent customer service to racegoers
  • Handle cash and cash up at the end of each race day
  • Explain effectively, different bet types to customers (training provided)

Skills / Attributes;

  • Good customer service experience
  • Good mental arithmetic
  • No prior knowledge of racing or betting needed
  • Ability to deal with cash efficiently and total up at the end of each race day
  • Confident relaying information to guests around bets and races after training
  • Enthusiastic

Job Types:
Part-time, Zero hours contract

Part-time hours: 4 per week


Salary:
£12.00-£13.60 per hour
