    Description

    Are you an experienced and enthusiastic speech and language therapist looking to join our innovative service supporting adults in the community.


    You will provide specialist speech and language therapy to people with a range of complex medical conditions /social needs and associated problems, completing visits in patient's homes and outpatient clinics.

    You will receive one to one clinical support, professional development, and regular supervision.

    Giving you the opportunity to further develop your skills in a variety of clinical areas such as our weekly Videofluoroscopy clinic, dysphagia management, with access to internal and external courses and much more.


    You will be working alongside wider multi-disciplinary teams within community services which is made up of physiotherapy, community nursing, occupational therapy, and social workers.

    Utilising specific Speech and Language Therapy skills to facilitate and optimise the treatment outcomes of patients.

    Communicating sensitively and effectively with patients and / or carers to promote understanding and ensure inclusion in decision -making wherever possible.
