Are you an Operations Manager experienced in managing deep excavations for utility civils projects? If so then read on
Our client is a leading utility company with a healthy order book with multiple clients.

Due to an increase in workload they are looking to expand their management team with an experienced Operations Manager to oversee deep excavation for water and powermains replacement projects.

Salary to £80k | Company Car / Allowance + Fuel card | Bonus | Pension | 26 Days Holiday + bank holidays

Key Essentials:_

Reporting to the Contract Director your role will involve directly managing a team of up to 10 Site Managers overseeing water and power deep excavation and cable mains renewals under CDM Regulations
Overall management of a large direct labour workforce
Conducting regular site progress meetings with the client
Ensuring that all projects are constructed in a safe manner as per designs and that they are documented and recorded correctly
Working closely with the commercial team, ensuring that all variations are captured
Overall responsibility for ensuring that all required plant and materials are onsite when required

_Requirements:
_

Previous experience managing deep excavation utility works under CDM regulations
Experience in the management of a large direct labour force including site management
Commercial awareness
