What you'll be doing:

Are you passionate and committed to improving the quality and safety of housing? Are looking for an exciting opportunity for career development in a supervisory role, where you will be encouraged to use your initiative to shape and improve service delivery?


If you are an experienced environmental health or housing professional, educated to degree level or equivalent within relevant professional or technical area then we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team.


You will be responsible for supervising and mentoring officers, providing them with specialist advice relating to housing standards and the Housing Health and Safety Rating System, property licensing, and the investigation of housing related offences, as well as well as managing a case load.

Some experience in a supervisory or management role in environmental health is desirable, but not essential.
