Group Financial Controller:


  • The Role


The Group Financial Controller will work within the finance function of Trust Payments, reporting to the CFO and managing a global finance team to ensure all aspects of financial reporting and analysis for the executive team and board are met on time.

Theywill ensure good control and governance of financial procedures in a highly dynamic and fast growing fintech business, some of these activities being regulated by the FCA and other regulators.


Group Financial Controller:


  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a global finance team
  • Ensuring good controls, systems, and processes in place to support a fast growing fintech business
  • Improve system automation and efficiency
  • Production of reports and conduct general financial analysis
  • Review and management of cash flow forecasts and control of cash movement and cash balances
  • Ensure all group subsidiary companies are accounted for revenue and costs adequately, timely and produce accurate monthly management accounts for each
  • Production of timely and accurate financial reporting (including statutory)
  • Managing the central accounting function to ensure all deadlines are met
  • HR Overview and calculations for commissions and reporting vs targets and % allotment per quarter
  • High level oversight of all Revenue Recognition functions to ensure all aspects of revenue across the group are captured and accounted for.
  • Oversight of all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Functions
  • Responsibility for group consolidation and all audit activities
  • Preparing consolidated accounts and reporting for presentation to the senior stakeholders
  • Management of all statutory reporting including VAT and Tax across all group entities
  • Providing appropriate financial information/data to support budget holders within the company
  • Ability to lead the daytoday operations of the finance function

Group Financial Controller - You:


  • Experience working in a financial accounting function
  • Proven track record in FCA regulated business
  • Experience in a similar type business (Payments).
  • Fully qualified accountant
  • Experienced in a matrix structure
  • Experienced working in a multi business group

Requirements:


  • Strong reporting and interpersonal skills
  • An excellent communicator who is selfmotivated, empathetic and a team player who can work in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to operate at senior level with a proven track record of strategic thinking and a 'cando' attitude to driving business growth
  • Similarly, payments or banking experience would be well received
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High levels of personal and professional accountability and integrity
