Job Description:

We are offering those in their penultimate year of study, a 6-week internship from
15 July through to 23 August for 2024.

The programme gives you real world experience whilst you are still a student.

It is a great opportunity for you to get a taste for what we do, helping you chose your future career path whilst contributing to real client solutions.

Test the water, show us you can swim and you will be rewarded with an invitation to join us for a further internship, or a fast-track place on our graduate recruitment process should a position be available.

As an intern, you will be on a project with the other interns, which will introduce you to many of the concepts involved in modelling a pension scheme and advising clients.

You will also work on actual client work and live projects within your team, which will encompass the role of a typical day in the Asset Liability Management (ALM) Team.

Qualifications:

You will likely be:

An undergraduate in your penultimate year of study
Highly interested in statistics, modelling, and have the ability to solve complex problems as this is a highly quantitative role
Interested in finance and capital markets
A good communicator (written)

Show the potential to develop:

Good verbal communication skills
A flexible approach and high personal standards
The ability to work well when the pressure is on
