The Job

Understanding the legal requirements (including health, safety and the environmental matters) for each tender.
Understanding the contractual requirements (e.g. drawn information, scope of works and specifications) for those tenders.
Understanding the industry standards that are required to be met.
Engaging with specialist subcontractors, suppliers, designers and utility companies (or similar) to ensure they submit a competitive and accurate tender.
Establish what resources are required for the efficient completion of the projects.
Maintain good relationships with clients, consultants and colleagues.

About You

Minimum of 2 years' experience within the demolition industry or earthworks.
Be confident in pricing demolition or earthworks worth in excess of £1 million in value.
The placement of subcontract orders
Understanding of the legal requirements for tender
Demolition experience of a wide variety of different types of buildings
Have an understanding of the JCT Standard Forms of Contract and similar
Have a construction industry degree or professional qualification (MRICS or MCIOB)
Have excellent IT skills (particularly Microsoft Excel)
