Our client is an established company based in Banbury, specialising within the real estate sector.

Due to continual growth of the business, they are now looking to acquire the services of a friendly Bookkeeper to work within the team.

This is a brilliant opportunity, which would suit a capable individual, who is looking for to work for a family-feel, friendly, and ambitious team, with huge potential.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Processing of all transactions through Sage One.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
  • Preparation of year end files for submission to external accountants.
  • Monthly preparation of payroll and all relevant submissions.
  • Other ad hoc finance admin duties as required.
  • Processing invoices and payments.
  • Bank reconciliation.
  • Receipting rent payments.
  • Producing Landlord statements.

Key Skills & Experience:


  • Previous use of Sage is essential.
  • Extensive previous experience with Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Previous payroll experience desired but not essential.
  • Organised individual with excellent timemanagement.
  • Highly numerate with strong attention to detail and accuracy in inputting data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Previous Lettings administration experience is preferred.
  • Team player and articulate.
  • Quick thinker and customer focused.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic.

Additional Information:


  • Full time hours: Monday
  • Friday, 8:45am 5pm. Part time hours (TBC, and salary TBC DOE).
