Job summary


This is a great opportunity to join the Facilities & Property Asset Management (FPAM) Team to deliver facilities management services through outsourced contractual relationships.


In this key role, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure accurate financial analysis and forecasting for budgets held by the FPAM team, reporting on and providing clear explanations to senior management.

You will lead on Communications,Change Management and Customer Experience Management contributing to the delivery of our clients Business Strategy, whilst liaising with colleagues to deliver this to the wider organisation.


Job description


As a Facilities Business Partner, you will have Line Management responsibility of the Facilities and Property Asset Management Business Support team and Proactive management and monitoring of Facilities and Property Asset Management staff and non-staff budgets.


You will be the responsible owner for project performance monitoring reports and accompanying data, ensuring these are accurate and delivered in a timely manner to report progress and status of projects to the Head of FPAM.

This will include undertakingmonthly forecasting exercises with detailed analysis of spend via thorough review of transaction reports; identifying, monitoring, and reviewing financial risks and opportunities to ensure accurate reporting and will report on and explain financial data viamonthly meetings with the FPAM Senior Leadership Team.


This role will require regular travel to other sites and there is an expectation this may be one or two visits per month.


Person specification


To meet the requirements of this role you will have experience of budget management and financial planning/forecasting and Risk Management.

As well as the above to be successful in this role you will have effective relationship building and stakeholder management skills; along with proven writing and verbal communication skills which enables understanding of complex information


You are proficient in data and financial analysis with an intermediate or higher level of Microsoft Excel skills and have experience of Line Management and the ability to coach and develop others.
