Are you currently working as a HR Advisor looking for your next career move?


Our client in Bedford are global leaders within their industry, they are seeking a HR Advisor to join their team.

As a HR Advisor you will provide timely support to the HR Manager, managers and employees.

You will be carrying out Human Resources related in duties in the following areas:
Recruitment, Onboarding, Employee Services, Monthly reporting, and Administration.


Salary:
Up to £30,000 PA DOE

Responsibilities:


  • Raise new hire requisitions for corporate approval.
  • Prepare job descriptions; place adverts and liaise with recruitment agencies to source CV's; schedule interviews; conduct the necessary preemployments checks including, obtaining employment references; right to work in the UK checks and checking qualifications.
  • Issue offer paperwork (employment contracts) and new starter paperwork for new employees, as well as, coordinating the onboarding process for new starters.
  • Maintain employee files and internal HR databases (update holiday and sickness records, clock times etc).
  • Ensure employee changes; terminations and new starter paperwork is submitted to finance in a timely manner for payroll processing.
  • Prepare monthly HR KPI reports.
Skills and Experience Requirements

  • Previous administrative and advisory experience.
  • Level 3 CIPD.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organisation skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Experience of applicant tracking system and HR database (desired but not essential)
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Minimum GCSE English and Maths.
  • Alevels preferred.
