Are you a HR People Partner or HR Business Partner ready for your next challenge? Our People Partner opportunity covers the Southwest region, based in our Severn Beach bakery and distribution site with accountability for our depots in Basingstoke, Newton Abbot, and Port Talbot. We are going through an exciting time of business and people transformation and are looking for a HR professional with the passion to lead the transition working with and influencing senior management on the development, implementation, and execution of the local people strategy.
Essential Ingredients
A proven HR/People business partner to senior stakeholders within an FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing or Distribution Environment
A senior HR/People generalist with experience of leading and coaching people
Demonstrating a background in driving, leading and supporting through change.
Experience of working in collaboration with Trade Unions and/or colleague forums at a site/depot level
A strong breadth and depth of knowledge across the various specialist areas within HR and regarded as a trusted advisor by your senior colleagues and leadership team.

The Recipe

The People Partner works in close collaboration with the site senior leadership team, our national People teams, and Centres of Excellence.

You will use data insights and intelligence to inform and influence the people agenda, ensuring activity is focused and outcome based.

You will be able to add real value and make an impact by developing change readiness in leaders and their teams.

As our People Partner you will be instrumental in driving compliance management, workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning, engagement, and leadership development activities, whilst driving high performance and excellence.

Our Bristol Bakery and Distribution Depot is located at Severn Beach, near Bristol.

At our Bristol location, we manufacture bread, thins and bagels across 3 production lines.

Innovation is a key business strategy, and the site plays a pivotal role in the manufacture and distribution of new products for our customers.

The Bristol site is also a dedicated Driver Training Centre and distribution hub, developing our next driver brand ambassadors.

To support the network across the Southwest, we have distribution sites at Newton Abbott, Port Talbot and Basingstoke delivering fresh products daily from the Brecon Beacons across to Battersea and down to Lands End.

Collectively, across the four sites that this role is accountable for, we deliver 2.1 million units per week to over 2600 customers daily over 142 delivery routes.
