Goodman Masson have partnered with a leading Investment Manager to assist with their search for an Investment Reporting Manager to join the COO function based in Norwich.


In the role you will be involved with the delivery of financial reporting in relation to funds and regulatory returns.

You will source the asset-level data required to populate the IFRS reporting for investment funds.

In this role you will be involved inthe Implementation of an efficient reporting process within the team to deliver the required reporting on a quarterly basis and maintain an effective control environment including evidencing compliance with FRCF principles whilst protecting finance systems,process and controls throughout the reporting process.


Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with third party fund accountants and internal fund accounting oversight function to source the required asset level data
  • Ensure that the service delivered from the thirdparty fund accountants is produced consistently, on time and to a high standard in accordance with agreed service levels and regulatory/accounting practice
  • Deliver consistent financial reporting to Group
  • Develop the effective use of technology and automation to improve efficiency, consistency between fund ranges and enhance the control environment
  • Ensure that all risks and controls relating to managed supply or outsource relationships are within agreed appetite

Skills & experience required:


  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
  • Uptodate IFRS knowledge
  • Proven ability to design, implement and operate process improvements
  • Comfortable with high volumes of data, strong Excel abilities
